Multiple CompositeResourcePlacehoders?

Is it possible to use two different CompositeResourcePlaceholders and assign CSS to from one CompositeResource to one CompositeResourcePlaceholder say in the head of the document and then use another CompositeResourcePlaceholder lower in the page to load JS files?

My issue is a third party control we use that loads a version of jquery via a ScriptResource.axd at runtime. I need to make sure that the newer version of the jquery is loaded as I am not sure there is the ability to override their use of the older version of jquery.

A fork has been created with regard to allowing multiple CompositeResourcePlaceholders. A pull request has not been submitted, so I have not pulled the changes in to the core project.

With regard to jQuery, depending on how you are using the library, you can always load in noconflict mode to mitigate having multiple versions loaded.
